Lester Pollack, Founder - Chairman Mr. Pollack is the founder of Centre Partners and has been a Managing Director since 1986. Mr. Pollack was a founding General Partner of Odyssey Partners from 1982 to 1986. Prior to that he was General Partner and Vice President of Oppenheimer & Co. and Vice-Chairman and Co-Chief Operating Officer of United Brands from 1979 to 1981. From 1965 to 1979 he served as Executive Vice President and as a member of the Board of Loews Corporation.
Mr. Pollack is a graduate of Brooklyn College and has a law degree from the New York University School of Law, where he serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees as well as a member of the Board of Trustees of New York University. Mr. Pollack serves on the Board of Kaz Inc., and is Director Emeritus of U.S. Bancorp. Mr. Pollack previously sat on the Boards of Directors of American Seafoods, L.P., CNA Financial Corporation, Continental Cablevision, Paramount Communications Inc., Parlex Corporation, Polaroid Inc., and Transco Energy.

Prior thereto, he was a Managing Director at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners where he had been a founding member in 1985. He joined DLJ Securities Corporation in 1984. He currently serves as a Director of Centre Environmental Partners, Inc., Covenant Care, LLC, Environmental Logistics Services LLC, Gray Energy Services, LLC, Hyco International, Inc., International Imaging Materials, Inc., Kaz Inc., Quickie Holdings, Inc., Target Media Partners, and Uno Restaurant Holdings Corp.
Mr. Jaffe previously served on the Boards of Directors of Brand Services, Inc., Catlin Westgen Group, Ltd., Duane Reade Holdings, NACOLAH, NextPharma Technologies, Pharmaceutical Fine Chemicals S.A., Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM) Holdings, Terra Nova Group, Wilson Greatbatch, and several other private companies. He also serves as a Director of Project A.L.S., a charitable organization focused on funding research for the treatment of Lou Gehrig's Disease. Mr. Jaffe received an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

He began his principal investment activity in 1985 at TSG Holdings, Inc., a diversified investment company, and then at RSG Partners, Inc. Prior to that, he was in the mergers and acquisitions departments of Becker Paribas Incorporated and Merrill Lynch Capital Markets. Mr. Pollack currently serves as a Director of Connors Brothers, L.P., Distant Lands Trading Co., DSI Holding Company, Inc., K2 Pure Solutions, L.P., Maverick Media, LLC, Ross Aviation, LLC, U.S. Retirement Partners, Inc., and as a Co-Manager of Palisades Ventures, LLC.
Mr. Pollack previously served on the Boards of Bravo Sports, Bumble Bee Holdings, L.P., the Connors Bros. Income Fund, Garden Fresh Holdings, Inc., Intermedia Partners IV, L.P. (Advisory), The Johnny Rockets Group, Inc., KIK Corporation Holdings, Inc., Muzak L.P., Salton, Inc., and several other private companies. He currently works with several charitable organizations. He is on the Board of Governors of the Weizmann Institute of Science and serves as the Chairman of the American Committee's New York Region. Mr. Pollack received a B.A. from Brandeis University.

He began his career in the investment banking department of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corp. Mr. Bergmann currently serves as a Director of Covenant Care, LLC, DSI Holding Company, Inc., and Orion ICG, LLC. He is also a member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Mr. Bergmann previously served on the Boards of Autoland, Inc, Bravo Sports, Garden Fresh Holdings, Inc., Muzak L.P., Ross Aviation, LLC, and Salton, Inc. Prior thereto, he was Senior Vice President and Assistant Treasurer of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corp. which he joined after 13 years with the Bank of New York. Mr. Tomai is also a founding general partner of AspenTree Capital, a private investment firm specializing in public securities and venture capital investments for managed accounts. Mr. Tomai is not active in the day to day managing of individual accounts of AspenTree Capital. He currently serves as a Director of MB Investment Partners and Associates, LLC, Gray Energy Services, LLC and serves on the advisory board of Palisades Ventures, LLC.
